The Bonus

Wow this book was really good. I’d already read Dirty Dealings so being able to go back and see the way Kyle and Chloe’s relationship began was a lot of fun. Poor Chloe she had such a hard life but she’s a tough cookie and she was lucky to meet Kyle. Even though Kyle is not going to win person of the year award he truly loves Chloe and will do anything to keep her safe. The connection between them is there from the start and I liked that. Chloe manages to become a part of Kyle’s world by staying loyal to him and Arturo. I’m happy they got their happy ending.

Songbird

Wow this book was crazy! Loved it! Solitaire is badass and Arturo well he’s was really creepy in The Bonus but now we get to see him in a whole new light. I was not expecting what happened to Solitaire and the bad guy, I figured out who it was two or three chapters before the reveal but there was still a twist I didn’t see coming. The ending was intense. A really great book.

Dirty Dealings

This was a really interesting story. Quique is part of the Mexican mafia sent to London to take care of a project while there he runs into Natalia a normal everyday British chick except she’s not normal. She’s done some things to protect her family and she would do it again. So Quique and Natalia have this love/hate relationship until about half way through the book and that’s where most of the action happens. I found the second half of the book more interesting because it was one thing after another after another. The first half of the book is more the set up and description of both characters and their lives. I’m not used to reading mafia type stories so this was a really cool read.

Parents are supposed to love their kids, not kill them. Right?
At least that's what Malcolm Collins thought, but when a string of racially-motivated hate crimes bears his father's signature quotes from over the years, what is he supposed to think? One clue after another pile up to threaten him and his Citadel bodyguard, Wendy Ryan, even as they struggle to forge a love relationship. Everything gets derailed over one crazy, kinky night, and they both think things couldn't get worse. Unfortunately, that's before one simple glance between them in the presence of his parents ignites a firestorm. It won't be easy to snuff out, and it may even cost someone their life.
Join Wendy, Malcolm, and the entire group of Walters friends and family in a steamy, kinky end to the Citadel series. One Wrong Glance is a heartbreaking tale that shows you how powerful simple words can be--power that's not always for the good.
Finish off Citadel and get ready for the Legacy series - grab this emotionally-charged read today!

Omg this book made me cry so much! It was such a roller coaster of emotions. Wendy and Malcolm start out great and things quickly go bad. I felt so bad for both characters. They really had a hard time communicating. As always the Walters’ clan and all the friends are around to give them moral support and eventually Wendy and Malcolm manage to fix their relationship. The reveal of who the bad guy was, was quite surprising and I wasn’t expecting that to happen to Malcolm or Wendy. And the ending! WTF?!!! Never in a million years did I think that was gonna happen and always with the cliffhangers. Now I’m sad and just want to know what will happen next.

Hayden Patterson has a simple rule.
And he’s never broken it. Sleeping with a woman more than once simply isn’t going to happen. He’s always managed to hang onto his resolve, and so far, no woman’s ever blasted her way through. It’s one and done, with no prospect of ever having anything permanent. His childhood gave him that thinking and he has no plans to ever change.
Two women alone, and one of them is in more danger than anyone realizes.
It’s hard being a teenager. Kacey Flournoy knows that all too well. Stuck in a school district full of snobby rich kids, she doesn’t fit in on her single mom’s salary. When she’s cast as a bully, it only gets worse – especially since she’s the one being bullied. And her poor mom, Delaina, doesn’t know what to do. Since Kacey’s dad died while serving in the military, it’s all she can do to put food on the table.
When Hayden draws his first assignment through Citadel Security, he can’t believe it. No way does he want to follow a poor little rich girl around all day to guard her from a bully. It doesn’t take him long, however, to figure out that something’s terribly wrong. And when he tries to right it, he meets the one woman who just might make him break his long-standing promise. That would mean he’d have to let go of the past, but he’s sure he’s not ready and he never will be.
A novella nestled between the first and second books in the first spinoff series from the Love Under Construction series, One Broken Promise takes the hunted to the hunter, the oppressor to the oppressed, and one very scared man to a place that will bring him to his knees. If you’ve ever been bullied, you’ll feel the pain. But you’ll also taste the joy of a promise broken.
WARNING: Strong, graphic sexual situations, a heinous criminal act against both an animal and a person by a seriously sick individual, and a suicide. For readers 18+ only.

I love the Love Under Construction universe and all it’s spin-off stories including this one. I loved the emotional growth of Hayden and the chemistry that he had with Delaina, they were hot together. I also loved how much he cared for and wanted to protect Kacey. Of course the Walters clan is always there with open arms to new people and take care of their own. A great addition to the series.

ExcerptAs revenge tales go, mine was rapidly turning sour. A day earlier I’d been on track, discovering the bastard Ranulf’s name, getting a general location and finding a thrall who’d get me right into his lair. Now I was stuck with a contract, working cheap, for Apollo’s sake, and committed to a second job so demeaning that it would get me into endless arguments with even my own Guild. Also, being stuck in Caern was going to be dangerous. I would have plenty of people after me, looking for revenge, and working for the constable meant they would all know where to find me.To top it all, my thrall was prone to erupting into a foul-mouthed rant at the slightest provocation, determined to run away, and I couldn’t turn my back on her, seeing she was more than capable of taking me out.
BlurbWare Fletcher returns to find his home destroyed. Determined to avenge his family, he buys Lind, a thrall whose skills will secure his revenge. However, Ware quickly discovers that Lind is extremely difficult. Worse, she’s determined to run away - and if it’s over his dead body, that’s fine with her!
Fletcher is set in Prydain, an imaginary place that combines Anglo-Saxon England with Medieval England, the Teutonic Kingdom and the Viking Age. This story contains slavery, dubious consent and graphic violence, however, it is a love story rather than a dark romance. It is a standalone novel; no cliff-hangers.

This book was great! I loved being in the world of Prydain again! Ware and Lind are a very unlikely couple but they have a great connection and as the story progresses they both get to learn what it’s like to live in each others world. Ware is on a quest and he’s determined to do anything to achieve his goal but it’s not easy. There are so many people who are against him he has to fight hard. Lind is just living her life the way she wants to and fighting back the only way she knows how regardless of the consequences. Both of them together are a force to be reckoned with. Can’t wait to see what else comes from the Prydain world.

55M years of resolve. And only one man can break it.

Fifty-five million years. In that length of time, you’d think Esther Summers could’ve found a man.
Thing is, she didn’t want to die.
But once she’s confronted with a danger that she had almost forgotten about, it will take every resource she has to keep herself from being ended. Her wits. Her powers. Her talents. Her circle of witch friends.
And one hotter-than-sin heat and air guy, Alan Hamlet. No HVAC unit on the planet could cool off the fire he lights inside her.
In all her years of survival in Earth’s dimension, Ez never factored in the desire she’d have for Alan, or the idea that any human could get that close to her. But Alan throws every switch in her sex-starved body and love-starved heart. Worse yet, every time she turns around, there he is, acting as her protector, as if that’s his job.
As if he knows.
Laid Bare, the first book in the Witch of Endor series, turns Ez’s world upside down and wrong side out. She wants Alan. But is she dying to have him?

This was a really cool first book in a new series. I loved Ez and Alan. The world that Deanndra created is so intricate and very interesting. It just makes you want to know all about the world in which Ez’s comes from. Loved the supernatural elements of the book. I want to learn more about Ez’s mates and if she’ll every find a portal back to Endor and what she would do. The cliffhanger killed me! I really wanted to know who the hell Alan is. I’ll be honest right now I don’t like him very much because he’s kind of wishy-washy. I know there is something secret about him and the ending proved it to me. I’ll just have to wait and see in future books what’s going to happen. So many more questions left unanswered.

Nineteen of today’s bestselling authors… Plus Nineteen tales of tempting teachers and seductive students… Equals One HOT anthology for an epic cause. Sexy, spicy, romantic, angsty, funny, or sweet-however you like your fantasies, these nineteen original novellas guarantee extra heat. 100% of digital sales profits will go to ProLiteracy, promoting and supporting literacy programs for all ages, genders, and cultures.

This is a fun collection of stories from some of the best authors. These stories are about teacher/student relationships. Sometimes the teacher pursues the student and sometimes it’s the student that pursues the teacher. This has something for everyone and not just traditional male teacher/female student. Some of my favorite stories were, Teach Me Sir by Julia Sykes, Schooled by a Senior by K Webster, Star Pupil by Rochelle Paige and Behind the Wall by Jane Harvey-Berrick. If you’re looking for some hot teacher/student stories than this is the book for you!
