I had a plan when I was nineteen. I would strip only until the bills were paid and I knew my sister and I wouldn’t be thrown out on the street. We would be financially stable. That was my plan. That was also three years ago. I’m still stripping.
I keep telling myself my life will change. I won’t do this much longer. I won’t need to. I don’t even believe that anymore. I still have bills. I still have a deadbeat mom. No idea where my father is. Or who he is.
Now my sister tells me she screwed up. Her future is at stake. One we’ve both worked hard for. There’s an offer for me. One I’ve refused twice now, but my resolve is slowly slipping. It’s just a job. He just wants to buy me for a little while.
He can buy me. But he’ll never own me.

30 Days is the first book in the Morgan Family series. Memphis became a stripper when she was 19 to support her and her sister when their mom left them . It was supposed to be temporary until they got on their feet but the bills keep coming and it’s now been 3 yrs. Memphis needs to find a way to make some serious cash quickly as her sister is in jeopardy of losing her college scholarship. She meets Cameron at Ecstasy the club she works at as a stripper. He offers her $150,000 to be just his for 30 days. She has denied this twice but the final time he asks she accepts to pay for her sisters tuition. She also made him agree to get her a job at his family law firm. When the 30 days are up and she starts her new job jealousy gets the best of Cameron. He doesn’t want to see her with any other men. Will they decide to give a relationship a try or do they say forget it since that is moving backwards from everything else they’ve done already?
I absolutely loved this book. The characters were well developed and very likable but Memphis was my favorite. This was a very hard book to put down. I’ve been reading every spare minute I’ve had the last few days. I’m sad I’ve finished but glad that I do have book 2 ready to start. If you’ve been hesitating on reading this don’t, just pick it up and it’ll drag you right in. J.L. Leslie has quickly become one of my favorite authors. I’ve loved every book I’ve read so far. I can’t wait to read more.I received an Arc in exchange for an honest review

I’m Aubrey Somers. I’ve landed my dream job. I have a great apartment and I still keep in touch with my best friend...even though he lives hundreds of miles away. I’ve even started dating again. I have a lot going for me.
It doesn’t matter that I have to take an anti-depressant everyday or see a therapist every other week. It doesn’t matter that I refuse to drive anywhere. The wreck that ruined everything I had is almost a distant memory. Almost.
But now I have two men in my life. Two men who want to be with me. Two men I never thought I’d have the chance to be with. And I feel like I’m drowning...
“His hungry mouth consumes everything from me. All of my emotions. When he pulls away, I don’t know what to feel. What to want. Who to want.” – Let The Waves Come In
**This book contains explicit language and sexual scenes. It is meant for adult readers only.**

Aubrey has had a crush on her best friend Drew’s brother Declan for years. She gave up her virginity to him when she was 18 thinking it would get him to acknowledge her. He practically threw her out of his room when he was done. She ran to Drew who consoled her the rest of the night. Now, yrs later living in California she runs into Declan. They become roommates but it doesn’t take long for their roommate relationship to turn into them being a couple. Things are going well then out of nowhere her ex fiancé Chandler that was supposed to of been paralyzed comes into the picture and wants her back. She finds this complicated as she has feelings for both Chandler and Declan. Who does she pick to be with? This was a great book which I really enjoyed. I can’t wait to read Drew’s story next. This was my 2nd book to read by this author and definitely not my last. I really enjoy her writing and the way she develops the characters in both books I have read.

Four years ago, I had everything. All it took was the snap of his fingers and he ripped it out from

under me.

Betrayed, by my own father.

His enemies want me dead and old allies want me back in their ranks to help take what’s owed.

And while I’m trying to figure out what I want, there’s her. The one I watch from the shadows,

afraid to bare me to her—the real me.

Hard. Cold. Deadly.

She should fear me—Braiden Donohue—but I’m not the only one keeping secrets, and I must

discover what she’s hiding.

Before it’s too late.

Redemption will be afforded, regrets will be atoned.

Welcome back to Chastity Falls.

REVIEW

We got the chance to dive in and read Braiden’s story. Braiden has just been released after spending 4yrs in jail. He expects no one to be at the gate to meet him but finds Luke and his sister. This starts him questioning what is going on. He soon finds out that a plan to take down Frankie O’Conner is starting but the guys planning it all want him involved in this to help clear his family name. Braiden is unsure if he wants to take part of this plan and decides he needs some space to figure this out alone. He goes to Forest Grove to get away for a few days and meets a girl and ends up falling in love with her. He doesn’t realize she’s really Cara O’Connor until it’s too late. Will Braiden take part in this plan or will he choose to be with Cara O’Conner? I can’t believe this is really the very end. I would have loved to of had more answers at the end since a few things were left unanswered. There’s always hope that it was left this way for maybe a spin-off series. It’s a long shot but we can hope for it. This was a great series and I’m really sad to see it end.

He was the high school hottie. She was the teacher’s pet. But in private, none of that mattered...
At the tender age of six, Penelope Watkins fell for her best friend’s brother, Evan Donovan, future hunk. By the time they were teenagers, they were having heart-to-hearts…and hot and heavy top secret make-out sessions. All that changed when Evan’s father suddenly died. Abruptly, Penelope lost him to grief—and to his true love: football. But now an injury had ended Evan's NFL career. The notorious bad boy was in a depression no one could penetrate, except maybe the one woman who still knew him best—and still wanted him most…
Penelope is the last person Evan wants to witness the wreck he’s become. So when she shows up at his door he’s less than welcoming—even though the sight of her brings back the same old rush of desire. As a teenager, the emotions overwhelmed him. Now, when he wanted to be overwhelmed, Penelope wasn’t playing. She was telling the golden boy it was time to man up. It may have taken a concussion for Evan to realize it, but that’s exactly what he wants to do—starting with her…

This can be read as a standalone but would be a lot better if you read the whole series. I really wanted to like this story as I usually love 2nd chance love stories. I honestly really didn’t care for it. I found myself just wanting to toss it aside but couldn’t since this was a book I received to review. This was a very slow book for me and I just really couldn’t get into it. I’m not saying it’s a bad book but we dont all like every authors writing style which honestly I think was my problem with this book.

Wren Davis has always been the responsible one. The caretaker. She’s always put her life on hold for others. When she takes a job as Stellan Zane’s housekeeper, she does it to take care of her sister. Her own life can wait. Only she wasn’t expecting to find him so irresistible…
Stellan Zane is used to getting what he wants, when he wants. No woman gets to him. No woman really knows about him or his past. When he lets his little sister hire him a housekeeper, Wren Davis is not what he was expecting. And she’s his employee. Yet, she’s what he wants…
Unable to fight their attraction, the two embark on a relationship that’s supposed to be uncomplicated. Allowing Wren to have the carefree life she’s never had and Stellan to enjoy the type of relationship he always gets. But when exes interfere, the unexpected happens and things become complicated, can Wren tame Stellan…and will he allow her to?
**All books in this series are stand-alone novels and can be read without reading the remaining books in the series. No cliffhangers!!**

This book is mostly about Wren and Stellan. They met when Wren was hired to be Stellan’s housekeeper. A job she really needed in order to pay for her sister Olivia’s medical bills. Stellan knew she was hired as a type of revenge by his sister Lennon. He doesn’t do relationships, he prefers the occasional sex with no attachments. There is something different about Wren though since he can’t get her out of his head. He realizes as time goes on that she’s changing him. Does this end up as a normal fling or do these two end up together? I was really surprised that this book grabbed me the way it did. This was really hard to put down once I started and found myself still thinking about it the next day. I can’t even express how much I loved it because it would be an understatement. I can’t wait for Dylan and Riley’s book to come out 🙂

Meet Colton Wade, FMX rider...
I'm just a small town guy who caught a lucky break. Now I'm living the dream, on the brink of high-flying super-stardom. But something's missing.
That something is Taylor.
She's my best friend. The one who makes me want to push harder and higher. The one I fall back on when shit gets tough. The one I'd give it all up for.
I'd do anything to protect her. To make her dreams come true too.
But a single night changes everything.
And now the one she needs protection from...is me.

This book is about Taylor and Colton who have been best friends for years. They both realize that there are more feelings than that of friends between them. Will they take the dive in an actual relationship or do they keep things as they are now? I find this story is more on the young adult side minus some language. It’s nothing like her prior series River Bend so you’ll need to expect it to be completely different if you decide to read this. That’s not a bad thing just not for me but I’m sure that if you like young adult romances you’ll love this book.
