Life in the limelight isn't all it's cracked up to be. After years of constant touring, and a close call with an overly obsessive fan, Bristol Lachlan has reached her breaking point. Running on fumes, and fighting a wicked case of writer's block, the lead singer of Absent Without Leave has gone missing in action.
Tage Crosby has taken more than his share of hits, both on and off the ice. Hanging up his Captain's jersey, he now spends his time running the only bar in the small town of Grindstone Harbor. The last thing he expected was for a woman to come into town and rock his world, but his beautiful new neighbor has a way of leaving him tongue tied and tripping over himself every time he gets near her.
Bristol knows her time in Grindstone Harbor is only temporary. The recording studio calls and so does the stage. But, what happens when your private life is exposed by flashing lights and what you see suddenly isn't enough anymore?
Do you go after what is missing and pull it closer to you?
Warning: This is a hilarious romantic comedy that may cause you to need spare panties for several reasons. The pages are full of steam, awkward moments of hilarity, and general epic fails of the human kind. Please read with caution.

What a fantastic book to read kept me entertained the entire way through. Moo the beast dog what a great character to write he is tops. The other characters in this book are do well written in Cat Masons style that you know you are going to love each and everyone. I can’t wait for the next book in this series. I was gifted this ARC for a fair and honest review.

Being the new bassist for Shaft is a dream come true for Ireland Tyler. Sold out stadiums and screaming fans are just bonuses to being able to play music she loves. The only downside is it brings her face to face with a blast from her past and her only regret: Dominick Bradford.
The second in command of security for the band may go by Mack now, but all Ireland sees is the boy who used her and left her broken hearted when they were just seventeen years old. Could this be her chance at revenge after all these years, or will it cause old feelings to rise to the surface and cost more than she is prepared to give?
Mack has been the number two and the butt of most jokes for as long as he can remember. When he is suddenly thrust into the top dog position he is determined to prove he has what it takes to run the security team during the last leg of the tour.
The only thing he didn’t count on was Ireland Tyler.
The wild and crazy bassist is far from the sweet and naïve girl he met all those years ago and it has him wondering how well he really knew her at all. Will Mack be able to resist her and do his job, or will he be consumed by the flames and be the one left wanting more this time?

I loved this series and all the characters!! Sorry to see it end as they have become a part of my book friends and enjoy following their stories. I highly recommend this series can be read as standalones but so much better if you read as the author wrote them, start at book 1.

How do I start this review?? I first started this series and the first book was good second still good but I thought do I want to continue with Shaft, am I ever glad I did. Cat Mason has done it she has made me a fan on Rock star romance. Believe me I didn’t think that was possible. I have really enjoyed that each person in the Shaft family has gotten their own story. I have my favorites in this series, but who doesn’t have their favorites. I was gifted this book for a fair and honest review.

Henry Richardson is the man in the shadows. He’s the calm and cool protector that everyone relies on to restore order among the chaos that is Shaft. After having his heart broken, not once, but twice, Henry is determined that it’s safer for everyone involved that he remain on the sidelines. He is content to hide behind his trademark shades and watch as his adopted family thrive in the limelight. When the live-in nanny for Shaft quits with no notice just before a much needed vacation, her replacement is nothing like Big Man expected.Rae Sloan is sassy and independent. She loves kids; working at the daycare center inside Ironsound Records was her dream job until she was offered something more.A live-in position with one of the hottest bands in the country. When Henry and Rae collide, the tension is through the roof. Neither one of them are emotionally available, but what happens when those layers you have to protect yourself are suddenly stripped away? When push comes to shove, Henry will have to make a choice that will change his life forever. Can Henry find love, or will he lose everything while fighting the demons within himself?

This author has done it, she has made me a fan of Rock star books. The Shaft family has definitely had their ups and downs in these books. This was Henry’s book, and I thought that this author had me with Hunter oh how wrong I was. Henry is such a great character, all of these characters vibe off of each other and as a family as a whole. Definitely not to be missed. I was gifted this book for a fair and honest review.

Catch up with everyone from Shaft on Tour as they celebrate the holidays. Don't miss out on baking with the girls, shopping with the guys, the couples gift exchange, or the Christmas party at Ironsound Records where someone loses a bet and has to dress up as Dirty Santa. This book is not a full length novel and is intended for ages 18 and up since it contains sexual situations and adult content.

What a great follow up book for Hunters story and Jazzie’s first Christmas with the Shaft family. It really shows how much Hunter has come into being a first time father and wanting everything perfect. I was gifted this book for a fair and honest review.
